This painting wil be one of many exhibited in the 'Fossils: Images in Stone' exhibtion at The Haven gallery in Boston, Lincolnshire until 12th June 2010.

This small oil painting on box canvas depicts a small coral fossil which has been scaled up, with the original fossil being smaller than the palm of my hand. The patterns and subtle colour variations were stunning, and just had to be captured on canvas.
