This painting wil be one of many exhibited in the 'Fossils: Images in Stone' exhibtion at The Haven gallery in Boston, Lincolnshire until 12th June 2010.

This small painting on box canvas shows an ammonite cross section and was produced as part of a pair. The textured surface has been built up using wax and oil paint. It was inspired by a fossil held at the New Walk Museum in Leicester. The painting is supplied ready to hang and will not require framing.
